Warranty Policy
Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased directly from Climbing Steps, Inc. via our official websites. It covers any physical goods sold by us that are used under normal conditions.
What’s Covered
- Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use will be repaired or replaced at no charge.
- For standard products: 180‑day coverage for all products or parts from date of purchase.
- For the “Freedom” and “Freedom Aqua” patient lift models:
- Electronics: 6 months from purchase for defects in materials or workmanship.
- Welds (structural frame): Lifetime warranty.
- Wheels & back components: These are subject to wear and tear and are not covered under the limited warranty.
What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to abnormal conditions, misuse, accidents, unauthorized alterations or repairs.
- Damage resulting from failure to follow normal installation, operation or maintenance.
- Parts subject to expected wear and tear (unless specifically covered above).
- Any cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) or issues not arising from a defect in materials or workmanship.
Warranty Period After Repair or Replacement
If your product or part is repaired or replaced under warranty, the new item is warranted for whichever is longer: the remainder of the original warranty period or 180 days from the date of repair or replacement.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact our customer support team to describe the issue and request an evaluation.
- If authorized, return the product or part following our instructions (shipping costs or responsibilities may vary).
- After inspection and approval of the claim, we will repair or replace the covered item.
